    • 25-6-06-Spellbound continues to do well on the Australian charts, dropping one place to #6 on the ARIA National chart. It sits at #3 on the Australasian artists chart. State charts-NSW-6, VIC-#8,QLD--#6, SA-#7, WA-#7.
    • 19-6-06-Charts are in! SPELLBOUND holding ground again at #5 on the National chart.State chart has them at: NSW-#4, Victoria-#4, QLD-#5, SA-#4 and WA-#6.
    • Meanwhile on the DVD chart Crowded House' Dreamin' the Videos' is at the #1 spot.
    • 17-6-06-Split Enz Split! Here we all are at the Perth airport heading our separate ways. Just wanted to thank the numerous Frenz for responding with such passion to the shows.The final Perth show was magic!
    • Soundcheck a treat for 20 Life members, the band belting out such classics as Parrot Fashion Love, Serge and Hermit!
    • If the quality is there, and all goes well there MIGHT be a Tour DVD in time for Christmas, we'll keep you updated.
    • Time to board QF802- as Split Enz split once more.
    • 14-6-06-Split Enz shake it up a bit at the Adelaide soundcheck, songs performed- Bergen-an-Zee, Amsterdam, Animal Lover, Log Cabin Fever, Bullet Brain & Cactus Head, Titus, Parrot Fassion Love, Neil finishing the soundcheck with a rousing version of Carried Away. Sandy Allen was also included in the Live Set that night.
    • 13-6-06-Spellbound #5 on the National chart, Enz #1 on the Australasian chart. Spellbound now Platinum in Australia.
    • 12-6-06-Melbourne night #2- Titus and some of Sweet Dreams in the set. Robert Gillies and Mike Chunn in the audience. Eddie V's Neil on the great frisbee flight off...hard to tell who won. The Frenz go off from song #1.
    • Nigel takes a wrong turn and almost leads the band into the audience instead of the stage area (Go Codge!). Melbourne night #1 the biggest crowd for the tour. Old Enz crew all backstage-feels good.
    • 9-6-06-Brilliant Sydney show, 2 songs short in the set. Emelyn Crowther in town and Richard Finn, neil & Tim's 2 sisters Carolyn and Judy-it's a gathering of the clans!
    • 8-6-06- Hi Frenz here we are in Sydney town, the band members cornered by autograph hounds at the airport, the Enz are in town.! Still a few tickets left for tonights show for those late comers. All goes well,the guys are having fun and the crowd at Brisbane was passionate and LOUD!

    • 4-6-06-SPELLBOUND-the Enz Tour compilation CD debuted at a very high #11 this week on the ARIA Top 100. It is winging it's way to Platinum sales as we speak. So if you are after a gift for someone, now is the time to grab a copy, lets make the Enz Top 10.
    • 1-6-06-Well the first day of Enz rehearsal is over, and it was a really solid start- the guys rehearsed 28 songs (!!!) and it sounded extra good. Two more days to go, it can only get better! The band also started signing the Limited Edition Tour Poster (500 done, all numbered, on extra thick card so suitable for framing). These will be out as part of the Tour merchandise.
    • 30-5-06-Some more Enz Press coming up. The front page of EG this Friday June 2nd. The Patrick Donovan article will be in the Sydney paper (Agenda section) this Sunday. No word on Melbourne yet. Keep checking this NEWS area as we may have another piece of TV coming up, will tell you when it's confirmed.
    • 28-5-06-Sydney fans look in the Telegraph SUNDAY magazine and Melbourne fans in the Herald Sun-Sunday newspaper (Sunday magazine). The Neil Finn IN MY OWN WORDS article is in both.
    • 20-5-06-All spots now taken for the special Frenz Club Members, Dress Rehearsal show.Please make sure you bring your club membership card for I.D. on the day.
    • 19-5-06-Just reminding all Australian Enz Frenz to tune into 60 Minutes this Sunday-Channel 9 at 7.30 for their Enz Interview.
    • 15-5-06-The Enz make the #1 spot on HIT magazine (Melb Sun) Top 10 things of the week.

    • 7-5-06-The 60 Minutes crew are in NZ this weekend filming the guys for an upcoming episode (May 21st).
    • 3-5-06-The TV Advert for the upcoming Enz Re Issue albums will be going to air May 28th. All TEN Split Enz albums will be available May 20th, Limited edition Digi -paks, Bonus tracks, Lyrics and photos.Frenzy sounds amazing at long last.
    • 2-5-06-The on air date for the Enz 60 MINUTES interview (Australia) will be May 21st.

    • 21-2-06-Just a reminder that Enz tickets are going onsale for the tour tomorrow (22nd) for those Enz fans who didn't get in for the advance fanclub tickets. Will be some great seats available.
    • 20-2-06-Enz fans who are trying to complete their CD collection, please note the bands debut album 'Mental Notes' has now ran out of stock at the Mushroom's store house. So only what remains in the stores is currently available, so if you see a copy grab it for your collection.

    • 8-2-06-*Stop Press* Adelaide Frenz please note the date for the Adelaide show has changed. It IS the same Venue but one day later. June 14th. All other Venues and dates stay the same. Ticket onsale date for the public is still February 22nd.Fanclub tickets the same onsale date too.
    • 5-2-06-Great to be driving around Melbourne and suddenly see 3 HUGE Enz posters in a row, advertising the upcoming show. All 3 Tour posters in different colours, fantastic!

    • 3-2-06-Numerous rumours flying about regarding Extra ENZ shows in other countries. At the moment the only place they are touring is Australia. There are no plans at this stage for other countries despite what you might read in the local media. (sorry guys).
    • 2-2-06-Patrick Donovan is currently writing a piece for The Age/Sydney Morning Herald (Good Weekend) magazine. It should be a major piece and run in this weekend edition.
    • 1-2-06- Welcome Frenz to the official NEWS board for the upcoming Split Enz Australian Tour. Please bookmark it as we will be adding information as soon as it is confirmed.
    • Today was a mammoth day for us all. It started very (very) early with Neil, Tim, Eddie, Nigel, Noel and Mal Green flying in for a new Enz photo shoot at the Port Melbourne studios.
    • Straight after that we headed to Ormond Hall, the Venue for some of the Enz earliest performances in Melbourne (The infamous Reefer Cabaret Shows).
    • The band arrived onstage in their ARIA Hall Of Fame ripped black dinner suits and answered questions and released the eagerly sort after Australian Tour dates.
    • They are:
    • Wednesday June 7th- Brisbane Entertainment Centre
    • Friday June 9th-Sydney Entertainment Centre
    • Sunday June 11th- Melbourne Rod Laver Arena
    • Tuesday June 13th- Adelaide Entertainment Centre
    • Friday June 16th- Perth Burswood Dome.
    • Tickets to the general public will go on sale Wednesday 22nd February. Some special advance sale tickets for Frenz of the Enz Club Members (and guests) will be available Feb 16th-17th. A VIP email will go out soon to members with this information on it.
    • The Enz performed several songs to the delight of the Press. Ten seperate TV cameras were filming, mostly for tonights News, as well as the Today Show.
    • Next it was onto MMM who will be our special tour sponsor for the shows, so expect to hear a LOT of Split Enz on Triple M as well as a weekenz of enz.... so loads of promos, Interviews and fun.
    • It's been a long day, but a great start for what should be a huge tour by the Enz in June 06. Hope to see you all on the road.
